Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, consultative sales to a discerning clientele across watches and fine jewellery, achieving individual and store sales targets.
- Develop and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling, follow-up and bespoke service.
- Possess and continuously deepen technical product knowledge of mechanical watches, gemology and jewellery craftsmanship to advise clients accurately.
- Manage high-value transactions with impeccable cash handling, POS accuracy and adherence to internal controls and loss-prevention procedures.
- Support merchandising and visual presentation to ensure product is displayed according to brand standards and contributes to a compelling boutique environment.
- Coordinate with after-sales, repairs and service teams to ensure exceptional post-sale client care and retention.
- Participate in in-store events, private viewings and trunk shows, and contribute to CRM data quality and reporting.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales, preferably with watches and/or fine jewellery.
- Demonstrable ability to meet and exceed sales KPIs while delivering discreet, personalised client service.
- Comfort with high-value transactions and strict compliance with boutique security and cash procedures.
- Willingness to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Legal right to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of direct luxury retail experience, ideally with watches and/or fine jewellery. Experience building a book of clients, meeting sales targets and managing high-value transactions is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; university degree or specialised training in gemology, horology or luxury retail is advantageous.
