Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor — Watches & Fine Jewelry in McLean (Tysons), VA. Luxury sales role focused on clienteling and haute-horlogerie expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a personalised, exceptional client experience in line with Chanel’s haute-luxury standards, converting interactions into long-term relationships.
- Advise clients on technical and aesthetic aspects of watches and fine jewelry, demonstrating authoritative product knowledge and storytelling.
- Proactively develop and maintain a client portfolio through targeted outreach, follow-up and appointment management using boutique CRM and clienteling practices.
- Support boutique merchandising and presentation: maintain window and in-store displays, manage stock presentation, and ensure product integrity and security.
- Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions and maintain accurate client and sales records in compliance with brand procedures.
- Participate in private client events, trunk shows and collection launches; collaborate with the team to achieve boutique sales objectives.
- Ensure adherence to loss-prevention, product handling and regulatory requirements, and uphold Chanel visual and service standards at all times.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail or boutique sales; experience with watches and/or fine jewelry strongly preferred.
- Impeccable client-service orientation with the ability to cultivate and sustain high-net-worth relationships.
- Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills; professional demeanour appropriate for a flagship luxury environment.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and holiday periods common to the Tysons retail calendar.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years in luxury retail or boutique sales; direct experience with watches and/or fine jewelry is highly advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree or specialised training in luxury retail, gemology or horology is advantageous.
