Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in Washington, DC (DC City Center). Join the boutique to deliver luxury client service and drive retail sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver discreet, personalised client service and cultivate long-term relationships with high-net-worth and local clientele.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, upselling and cross-selling.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales transaction process including point-of-sale operations, cash handling and accurate completion of sales documentation.
  • Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, boutique presentation, stock replenishment and inventory control.
  • Use CRM and clienteling tools to log interactions, follow up on appointments and nurture prospects.
  • Collaborate with the store team on events, private appointments and product launches while adhering to brand standards and loss-prevention policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of luxury retail or premium-brand sales; demonstrated ability to meet KPIs and build repeat business.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation and strong emotional intelligence when engaging discerning clients.
  • Familiarity with visual merchandising principles and boutique standards in a high-end retail environment.
  • Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and CRM tools; meticulous with cash-handling and administrative tasks.
  • Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods; reliable and punctual.

Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in retail, fashion or sales is advantageous.
