Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in Vancouver — deliver personalised luxury client service and drive sales at the Chanel boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high-touch client service and styling advice to an affluent clientele, fostering long-term relationships and loyalty.
- Proactively develop and manage a client portfolio through appointments, outreach and clienteling activities to drive repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales objectives through consultative selling and upselling of apparel, leather goods and accessories.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across collections, including materials, provenance and care, to articulate value and heritage.
- Execute visual merchandising standards and ensure boutique presentation, stock replenishment and inventory accuracy.
- Process sales transactions, manage CRM data entry and follow up on client requests with discretion and professionalism.
- Support in-store events, private appointments and seasonal campaigns, collaborating with the store team and management.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail or client-facing sales experience (typically 1–3 years) with measurable sales results.
- Exceptional interpersonal and verbal communication skills with a polished, service-oriented demeanour.
- Deep interest in fashion, an appreciation for luxury craftsmanship, and the ability to convey brand heritage.
- Comfortable working flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and able to participate in special events.
- Legal authorization to work in Canada.
Skills
Experience
Experience in luxury retail or premium fashion sales, with a track record of building client relationships and meeting sales targets. Prior experience with high-value product ranges and appointment-driven service is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; postsecondary studies in fashion, retail or business are advantageous.
