Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor at Saks Troy, MI — deliver luxury client service, styling and sales for Chanel collections.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a consistently elevated, personalized client experience that reinforces Chanel’s brand standards and drives sales performance.
- Develop and maintain an active client book through proactive outreach, appointment management and follow-up communications.
- Provide expert product knowledge and bespoke styling advice across ready-to-wear, accessories and beauty categories.
- Execute luxury sales transactions accurately using the store POS; manage returns, exchanges and gift services in line with Chanel policy.
- Maintain visual merchandising, stock presentation and back-of-house inventory controls to uphold boutique standards.
- Support private client events, trunk shows and in-store activations; liaise closely with store management and cross-functional teams.
- Adhere to loss-prevention procedures and ensure confidentiality and discretion in all client interactions.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail sales; experience with designer fashion, leather goods or accessories preferred (2+ years recommended).
- Polished professional presentation and excellent interpersonal skills befitting high-net-worth clientele.
- Demonstrable clienteling ability with a history of building and converting relationships into repeat business.
- Availability to work a flexible retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Background in high-end retail with a proven record of meeting or exceeding individual sales targets and managing high-value client relationships. Prior work within a designer house, department store concession or luxury boutique is strongly advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary qualification in fashion, merchandising or business preferred.
