Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor (temporary cover) in Barcelona to deliver luxury client service and achieve boutique sales targets.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised shopping experience consistent with Chanel’s brand standards and client etiquette.
- Develop and maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients through proactive clienteling and appointment management.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets while maximising average transaction value and conversion rates.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across ready-to-wear, accessories and beauty lines; advise clients on styling and product selection.
- Execute boutique merchandising and visual standards, including garment presentation and stock rotation.
- Process sales transactions, handle returns/exchanges and ensure accurate use of the point-of-sale system and CRM.
- Support inventory management tasks: incoming deliveries, stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Represent the brand at in-store events and support ad hoc boutique initiatives or team projects during the cover period.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or premium fashion environments, with direct client-facing sales responsibility.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building repeat client business.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, discretion and a client-first orientation.
- Fluent in the local language with strong verbal communication; additional languages are an asset (not specified).
- Flexible availability to work boutique hours, including weekends and evenings, for the duration of the temporary cover.

Experience
Typically 1+ year of frontline experience in luxury retail or premium fashion; prior clienteling and appointment-based selling experience strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education; formal training in fashion, retail or luxury brand management is advantageous but not mandatory.
