Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in Sydney, New South Wales to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, discreet client service to high-net-worth and repeat clientele; develop and maintain long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through expert product presentation and consultative selling.
- Maintain exemplary boutique standards including visual merchandising, stock integrity, pricing and presentation aligned with brand guidelines.
- Manage transactions and client records accurately using the boutique POS and CRM; follow up on orders, alterations and after-sales service.
- Support boutique operations including inventory management, receiving and stock replenishment, and participation in in-store events and trunk shows.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail sales experience, preferably in fashion, leather goods or accessories.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a polished, professional demeanour and high standards of personal presentation.
- Strong commercial acumen and a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends; legal entitlement to work in Australia.
- Discretion, respect for client privacy and the ability to represent a heritage luxury brand with cultural sensitivity.
Skills
Experience
Typically 2+ years of client-facing experience in luxury retail or premium fashion environments, with demonstrated success selling into affluent clientele and managing repeat business.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; a tertiary qualification in fashion, retail management or business is preferred but not required.
