Chanel is recruiting a Fashion Advisor (Shoes Corner) at Rinascente, Milan — temporary contract. Deliver luxury client service and drive footwear sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver discreet, high-calibre client service in the shoes corner at Rinascente Milan, cultivating personal relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve individual and corner sales targets through expert product presentation, targeted recommendations and persuasive selling techniques.
- Maintain impeccable visual standards and merchandising of the shoes area to reflect Chanel’s aesthetic and seasonal directives.
- Manage point-of-sale transactions, returns and gift packaging with accuracy and adherence to company procedures.
- Support inventory control: receive, label and replenish stock; assist with stocktakes and loss-prevention measures.
- Execute clienteling activities including appointment management, follow-up communications and after-sales care.
- Coordinate with Rinascente store management and Chanel retail leadership to ensure operational alignment and event execution.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably within luxury fashion or footwear (minimum 1 year preferred).
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building rapport and tailoring the client experience.
- Strong commercial awareness and a demonstrable track record of meeting sales targets.
- Professional demeanour, meticulous presentation and ability to operate to exacting brand standards.
- Flexibility to work a retail rota including weekends, evenings and peak retail periods.
- Proficiency with standard retail procedures (cash handling, returns) and basic POS operation.
Skills
Experience
Previous experience in a retail sales role within luxury fashion or footwear is preferred; demonstrated success against sales targets and experience in client relationship management are advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certificates in retail, sales or fashion is advantageous.
