Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in Sapporo, Hokkaido. Boutique sales role delivering luxury client service and product expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service that reflects Chanel’s brand standards and builds long‑term client relationships.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling and appointment management.
- Maintain encyclopedic product knowledge across fashion, leather goods, accessories, fragrance and beauty to provide tailored styling and product advice.
- Execute boutique visual merchandising and presentation guidelines to preserve the Maison’s aesthetic and product storytelling.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems accurately, manage transactions, returns and after‑sales service with discretion and professionalism.
- Support inventory control: receive, unpack, stage merchandise and assist with stock counts and replenishment.
- Coordinate with boutique management and corporate teams on client events, private appointments and product launches.
- Document client interactions and preferences in CRM to ensure continuity of service and to support targeted outreach.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury or premium retail sales, preferably within fashion, leather goods or beauty.
- Demonstrated ability to meet sales objectives while delivering high standards of client service.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, professional presence and excellent verbal communication.
- Capacity to work retail hours including weekends, evenings and peak seasonal periods.
- Attention to detail and commitment to brand presentation, discretion and confidentiality.
Skills
Experience
Preferably 2+ years of experience in luxury retail or boutique sales, with a proven ability to develop client relationships and achieve sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or customer service is an asset.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan.
