Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in Santa Barbara (Montecito) to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver a high-touch, personalised client experience to cultivate long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling, appointment-led selling and follow-up.
- Demonstrate authoritative product knowledge across ready-to-wear, leather goods, accessories and beauty, and advise clients on styling and assortment.
- Manage the client portfolio and daily CRM activities: schedule appointments, maintain accurate client records and execute targeted outreach.
- Execute store standards including visual merchandising, inventory management, stock receiving and loss-prevention procedures.
- Process sales transactions, facilitate after-sales service and coordinate with boutique management to resolve client issues.
- Represent the maison at local client events and trunk shows as required.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years' experience in luxury retail or premium boutique sales with a demonstrable sales track record.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, polished presentation and a service-oriented demeanour suited to ultra-luxury clientele.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and occasional events.
- Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and discretion handling high-value client relationships.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Experience
At least 2 years of experience in luxury fashion or premium boutique sales, with proven ability to build client relationships and meet or exceed sales targets.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in fashion, business, marketing or related field preferred.
