Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized service to a discerning luxury clientele and build long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Drive and exceed individual sales targets through expert product presentation, storytelling and consultative selling techniques.
- Maintain deep product knowledge across Chanel categories (fashion, accessories, fragrances and beauty) and communicate brand heritage and product provenance to clients.
- Execute visual merchandising and in-store presentation to Chanel standards within the Nordstrom concession, ensuring stock is merchandised, priced and replenished promptly.
- Operate point-of-sale and transaction procedures accurately while adhering to loss-prevention and cash-handling policies.
- Use CRM tools to log client interactions, preferences and purchase history to support retention and targeted outreach.
- Participate in in-store and brand training, seasonal launches and team briefings; apply learnings to enhance sales performance.
- Collaborate with store and brand teams to coordinate client events, private appointments and after-sales service.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality customer service in luxury retail or premium department store environments; luxury brand experience preferred.
- Exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills with a client-first mentality and refined presentation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Professional appearance, discretion, and respect for client confidentiality.
- Basic numeracy and accuracy in handling transactions and inventory tasks.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of retail sales experience, preferably within luxury brands or premium department stores; experience with clienteling and private client appointments is advantageous.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality is advantageous.
