Chanel in Rome seeks a Fashion Advisor (temporary contract) to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service in line with Chanel’s luxury standards, managing both walk-in and appointment-based clients.
- Proactively develop and maintain client relationships through targeted outreach, follow-ups and post-sale care to maximise lifetime value.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and expert product presentation.
- Maintain impeccable boutique presentation, including merchandising, stock presentation and daily visual standards set by the maison.
- Process sales transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system and ensure compliance with payment, refund and gift policies.
- Support inventory management activities: receiving, replenishment, stock counts and loss-prevention procedures.
- Contribute to CRM data quality by recording client interactions, preferences and purchase history in the brand database.
- Collaborate with boutique colleagues and management to execute promotional events, trunk shows and private client appointments.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or premium fashion (see experience); demonstrable track record in client-facing sales.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills with a service-first mentality and strong emotional intelligence.
- Fluent Italian; professional working proficiency in English preferred for servicing international clientele.
- Impeccable personal presentation and the discretion expected in high-end client interactions.
- Ability to perform in a target-driven environment while preserving long-term client relationships.
- Right to work in Italy and flexibility to work boutique hours, including weekends and evenings as required.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of retail experience in luxury fashion or premium-brand boutiques, with evidence of meeting sales targets and managing high-value client relationships.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) required; vocational training or certifications in retail, fashion or sales are advantageous.
