Chanel in Rome seeks a Fashion Advisor (temporary contract) to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service to luxury clients and cultivate long-term client relationships through proactive clienteling.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through expert product presentation and consultative selling.
- Maintain boutique standards: execute visual merchandising guidelines, housekeeping, and merchandise presentation to the maison’s specifications.
- Operate point-of-sale systems accurately, manage transactions and ensure rigorous cash-handling and reconciliation procedures.
- Support stock operations including receiving, inventory control, replenishment and loss-prevention measures.
- Participate in brand and product training sessions and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
Qualifications
- Proven aptitude for high-end retail sales and client service; strong commercial acumen.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a polished, professional manner suited to luxury clientele.
- Availability and flexibility to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.
- Impeccable personal presentation, discretion and respect for client confidentiality.
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced boutique environment and to learn product knowledge rapidly.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–2 years of retail experience, ideally within premium or luxury fashion; demonstrable track record of meeting sales objectives is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, fashion or hospitality is advantageous.

This position is based in Rome, Lazio, Italy.
