Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised service to luxury clientele and international travellers at the Kansai International Airport boutique.
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through proactive client engagement and relationship building (clienteling).
- Present and demonstrate product knowledge across ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods and beauty categories.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems, process payments, and manage tax-free/duty-free transactions in accordance with travel-retail procedures.
- Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, replenishment, stock management and loss-prevention measures.
- Liaise with store management to escalate client requests, manage appointments and support after-sales service.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales experience, preferably within a luxury or premium fashion brand.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a polished, client-focused demeanour and professional presentation.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced travel-retail environment during irregular hours and peak travel periods.
- Ability to learn and confidently communicate product knowledge and brand heritage.
- Basic numeracy and familiarity with POS operations; attention to accuracy for payments and tax-free paperwork.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of frontline retail experience, ideally within luxury fashion or travel retail. Demonstrable sales performance and client relationship management preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, hospitality or fashion is advantageous.
