Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in New York, NY (Madison Avenue) to deliver bespoke client service and drive sales at the Madison boutique.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalized client service and cultivate long-term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow-up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets and KPIs while maintaining impeccable presentation of Chanel merchandise.
- Possess authoritative product knowledge across ready-to-wear, accessories, and leather goods to advise clients and drive conversion.
- Execute visual merchandising directives to maintain brand presentation, window displays, and boutique standards.
- Support client events, private appointments, and trunk shows; coordinate with store leadership and CRM to maximise attendance and conversion.
- Process sales transactions accurately, handle cash and card procedures, and ensure compliance with POS and retail loss-prevention policies.
- Manage stock replenishment, incoming deliveries, and inventory controls; liaise with back-office teams on replenishment and returns.
- Uphold brand compliance in dress, conduct, and confidentiality; report market feedback and client intelligence to management.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years' experience in luxury fashion or premium retail with demonstrable sales performance.
- Proven track record of clienteling and high-value transaction management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with an affluent clientele.
- Professional presentation and a service-oriented, discreet approach consistent with high-luxury standards.
- Flexibility to work retail hours including evenings, weekends, and occasional events; ability to travel locally as required.

Experience
Preferably at least 2 years of direct experience in luxury or premium-brand retail, with a measurable sales record and experience managing private client appointments and events.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in fashion, business, or a related field preferred.
