Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in New York, NY — deliver exceptional client service, drive sales and represent the maison.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exemplary, personalized service to clients and VIP customers, building long-term relationships and repeat business.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets through proactive clienteling, appointments and follow-up.
- Conduct private and in-boutique client consultations, styling sessions and fittings with attention to product story and fit.
- Maintain immaculate boutique presentation and merchandising consistent with Chanel visual standards.
- Manage sales transactions, returns and alterations; ensure accurate cash handling and POS operation.
- Capture and update client data in CRM, schedule appointments and execute targeted outreach campaigns.
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment and loss-prevention procedures.
- Collaborate with store management, visual merchandising and after-sales teams to ensure seamless client experience.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury retail or boutique sales with a demonstrated track record of meeting sales targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with high-net-worth clients.
- Polished professional presentation and adherence to brand standards and discretion.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays as required by boutique operations.
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple client appointments.
- Familiarity with CRM usage and basic POS/transaction procedures; ability to learn proprietary systems quickly.

Experience
Minimum of 2 years' frontline experience in luxury retail or fashion boutiques, with proven ability to develop client relationships and meet commercial KPIs.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; degree or coursework in fashion, retail or business preferred.
