Chanel is hiring a Fashion Advisor in McLean, VA (Tysons) to provide personalised luxury client service and drive boutique sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client service to cultivate long-term relationships and drive repeat business.
- Achieve individual and boutique sales targets through proactive client outreach, upselling and cross-selling of ready-to-wear, accessories and beauty.
- Provide expert product and styling advice, tailoring recommendations to clients’ tastes and lifestyle.
- Maintain impeccable boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards in accordance with brand directives.
- Manage transactional duties including accurate cash handling, POS operation and order processing.
- Support inventory control: receiving deliveries, stock replenishment, and participation in stocktakes.
- Coordinate appointments and client events; liaise with clienteling/CRM to record profiles and follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with the boutique team to share product knowledge and contribute to a high-performance retail environment.
Qualifications
- Proven retail sales performance, preferably within luxury fashion or premium lifestyle brands.
- Strong interpersonal and consultative selling skills with a demonstrable client-focus.
- Professional presentation, discretion and respect for client confidentiality.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and peak retail periods, including holidays.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and manage a fast-paced boutique workload.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Minimum of one year of direct retail sales experience; prior experience with luxury or premium fashion brands is strongly preferred. Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and building lasting client relationships.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or coursework in fashion, retail or sales is a plus.
