Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor for its Ala Moana boutique in Honolulu, HI — client-focused luxury sales role at Chanel.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, discreet service to a discerning clientele, building long-term relationships and driving repeat business through proactive clienteling and personalized appointments.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling and product storytelling across apparel, accessories and related categories.
- Maintain expert product knowledge and communicate the brand’s heritage, craftsmanship and seasonal narratives to clients.
- Manage daily sales operations including POS transactions, cash handling, client records and appointment scheduling with accuracy and professionalism.
- Support visual merchandising standards and ensure the boutique environment reflects Chanel’s presentation guidelines and luxury service expectations.
- Coordinate inventory control activities: receiving, tagging, replenishment and basic stock reconciliations in collaboration with boutique management.
- Participate in client events, trunk shows and private viewings; prepare post-event follow-up and sales conversion activities.
- Collaborate with boutique and regional teams to share market intelligence, client feedback and sales opportunities.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or high-end retail sales; demonstrable clienteling and consultative-selling track record preferred.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to meet and exceed sales objectives while maintaining brand standards.
- Professional presentation, excellent interpersonal skills and the capacity to adapt service to high-net-worth clients.
- Availability to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods; reliable transportation to the Ala Moana location.
- Right to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in luxury or premium fashion retail with a proven record of client development and sales performance; familiarity with boutique operations, merchandising and inventory processes. Two or more years in a similar role is preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; additional retail, fashion or customer service training is advantageous.
