Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in Waikiki (Honolulu, HI) to deliver luxury client service and drive boutique sales.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience to a discerning and international clientele, building long-term relationships through proactive clienteling.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through consultative selling of apparel, handbags, accessories and beauty products.
  • Maintain expert product knowledge across Chanel categories and translate that knowledge into persuasive styling advice and service.
  • Operate point-of-sale systems, process transactions accurately and manage customer records within the boutique CRM.
  • Maintain boutique presentation and visual merchandising standards, including merchandising replenishment and display upkeep.
  • Coordinate fittings, alterations and follow-up communications to ensure seamless end-to-end client journeys.
  • Participate in boutique events, trunk shows and VIP appointments; support outreach and appointment management.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures, stock control and receiving processes to protect high-value inventory.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in luxury retail sales, preferably within a designer apparel or accessories boutique.
  • Demonstrable clienteling skills with the ability to cultivate and retain high-net-worth clients.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a polished, professional demeanour.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Flexible availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and peak holiday periods.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education in fashion, retail or merchandising is advantageous.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain the brand's standards for presentation and service.

Experience
