Chanel seeks a Fashion Advisor in Fukuoka — client-facing luxury retail role focused on sales, styling and clienteling.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high-touch client service and build long-term relationships with a discerning clientele.
- Achieve and exceed individual and boutique sales targets through proactive clienteling and appointment booking.
- Provide styling advice and product expertise across ready-to-wear, accessories, leather goods and cosmetics.
- Maintain visual and merchandising standards in line with Chanel boutique guidelines.
- Manage transactions, returns and in-store documentation accurately using the point-of-sale system.
- Support stock management, receiving, replenishment and inventory controls to preserve product integrity.
- Represent the brand at in-store events, private appointments and client outreach initiatives.
- Ensure impeccable boutique presentation, housekeeping and observance of brand security and after-sales processes.
Qualifications
- Business-level Japanese language proficiency; excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
- Minimum two years of client-facing experience in luxury retail or premium fashion sales (preferred).
- Demonstrable sales results and experience in clienteling or CRM-driven relationship management.
- Strong visual sense with experience implementing brand merchandising standards.
- Professional presentation, discretion and the ability to adapt to a high-end service culture.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays, and legal right to work in Japan.

Experience
Minimum two years' experience in luxury or premium fashion retail with a proven track record in clienteling, sales conversion and boutique standards.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in retail, merchandising or hospitality preferred.

The successful candidate will be located in Fukuoka, Fukuoka, Japan.
