Chanel — Fashion Advisor (temporary cover) in Barcelona. Boutique role delivering luxury client service and sales excellence.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalised, high-touch client service to a sophisticated clientele, proactively building and maintaining client relationships (clienteling).
- Achieve individual and store sales targets through product presentation, consultative selling and effective cross-selling of fashion, accessories and beauty lines.
- Maintain exemplary boutique standards: visual merchandising, stock replenishment, display upkeep and housekeeping of the sales floor.
- Process sales transactions accurately, manage returns/exchanges in accordance with brand policies, and ensure meticulous presentation of receipts and documentation.
- Support inventory control and loss-prevention procedures, including stock counts and receiving merchandise.
- Communicate client feedback and market intelligence to store leadership and contribute to local CRM activities.
- Provide seamless coverage and handover in line with temporary absence requirements, ensuring continuity of client relationships and boutique operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in luxury or premium retail sales; prior boutique experience strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable record of achieving sales targets and cultivating repeat clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with polished, client-focused demeanour.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining luxury service and visual standards.
- Flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and evenings, and to cover temporary absences.
Skills
Experience
Typically 1–3 years of progressive retail experience, preferably within luxury fashion or premium lifestyle brands, with evidence of meeting sales objectives and delivering high-touch client service.
Education
Secondary education; vocational or post-secondary studies in fashion, retail, or business are advantageous but not mandatory.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain.
