Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver personalized, anticipatory service to high‑net‑worth and walk‑in clients, cultivating long‑term relationships through proactive clienteling and follow‑up.
- Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets while maximizing average transaction value and conversion rates.
- Manage private appointments, trunk shows and bespoke client events to showcase collections and drive sales.
- Maintain expert product knowledge across seasonal collections, leather goods, ready‑to‑wear, jewellery and beauty to advise clients authoritatively.
- Execute visual merchandising and shopfloor standards to uphold Chanel’s brand presentation and seasonal directives.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems and CRM tools to record client preferences, sales activity and inventory movements accurately.
- Support inventory control, stock replenishment and loss‑prevention procedures in accordance with company policy.
- Collaborate with store management and cross‑functional teams to deliver seamless client experiences and local commercial initiatives.
Qualifications
- Professional, polished presentation with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with discerning clients; clienteling experience required.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a luxury retail environment.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak season demands typical of a resort location.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 2 years of direct experience in luxury retail or high‑end fashion sales; prior experience handling private appointments and cultivating VIP clientele preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in fashion, business or a related field is a plus.
