Chanel is hiring an F&BP Event Design Manager in Seoul — lead experiential design and production for luxury events.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and lead the creative design vision for Chanel events across Korea, from concept through installation and strike, ensuring alignment with brand aesthetics and luxury positioning.
  • Manage end-to-end event production: schematic and technical design, space planning, scenic and F&B integration, lighting, AV and fabrication specifications.
  • Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders including marketing, retail, client services, PR, external agencies, caterers and venue operators to deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Produce and maintain detailed technical drawings, mood boards, materials specifications and production schedules; supervise onsite installation and quality control.
  • Control project budgets, approve supplier quotes, negotiate contracts and ensure cost-efficiency without compromising design integrity.
  • Select, manage and evaluate vendors, freelance designers and production crews; ensure compliance with safety, permitting and local regulations.
  • Drive post-event reporting and continuous improvement by documenting learnings, cost reconciliation and photographic archives for future reference.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, production management, event management or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record (typically 5+ years) in event or experiential design and production, with demonstrable experience on luxury-brand activations or high-profile cultural events.
  • Portfolio demonstrating concept-to-delivery experience, technical drawings and examples of large-scale installations.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, multi-vendor schedules and complex logistics under tight deadlines.
  • Strong leadership and stakeholder-management skills with experience directing cross-disciplinary teams onsite.

Experience

Bachelor’s degree in design, architecture, event production, or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
