Chanel — Assistant to WFJ Division General Manager in Shanghai. Provide executive support, calendar and travel management, stakeholder liaison; bilingual Mandarin/English required.
Role & Responsibilities
- Provide high-level executive support to the WFJ Division General Manager, including proactive calendar management, scheduling and prioritisation of meetings.
- Coordinate international and domestic travel logistics, prepare detailed itineraries and manage travel expense reports and approvals.
- Prepare meeting briefings, agendas, presentations and executive correspondence; draft and edit communications in both English and Chinese.
- Act as primary liaison between the General Manager and internal stakeholders (commercial, merchandising, HR, legal) and external partners, ensuring timely follow-up on action items.
- Manage confidential information with absolute discretion and exercise sound judgement on sensitive matters.
- Coordinate and track divisional projects and initiatives, monitor timelines and escalate risks or delays to the General Manager.
- Oversee administrative processes for the division: invoice processing, vendor coordination, office logistics and basic budget follow-up.
- Support ad hoc requests such as organising events, facilitating executive workshops, and compiling management reports and market intelligence summaries.
Qualifications
- Bilingual proficiency in Mandarin (native or near-native) and professional-level English, both written and verbal.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience providing executive support to senior leadership, preferably within luxury retail, fashion or consumer goods.
- Proven discretion handling confidential information and interacting with senior stakeholders and high-net-worth clients.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Excellent written communication, presentation and minute-taking abilities.
Skills
Experience
Three to five years supporting C‑level or senior executives, ideally within the luxury, retail or fashion sectors; experience coordinating international travel and cross-functional projects is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree preferred — fields such as Business Administration, Languages, Hospitality or equivalent professional experience.
