Chanel seeks Events Coordination Manager (8-month contract) in Paris for Watches and High Jewelry Division. Lead international event strategy and brand activations.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and pilot high-impact events and activations from strategic conception through post-event evaluation, ensuring alignment of creative ambitions, business objectives, and brand image priorities
- Oversee project scoping, budget tracking, timeline management, and consistency of event components, assets, and gifting strategies in partnership with the Creative Vision, Visual Merchandising, Events and Client Experience Director
- Facilitate collaboration between creative, business, press, marketing, client, finance, legal, and security functions to coordinate internal and external project stakeholders and manage complex operational dependencies
- Support the international deployment of event concepts, market appropriation of creative strategies, and adherence to brand guidelines with the assistance of creative resources
- Manage and develop a team of three Event Coordinators, including activity organization, prioritization, tracking, and individual and collective objective achievement
- Maintain active awareness of industry developments, emerging trends, emerging talent, and potential partners to identify new creative and strategic opportunities aligned with Division ambitions
- Ensure quality, consistency, and innovation in event devices deployed domestically and internationally, contributing to the House's prestige and desirability
Qualifications
- Degree from top-tier business school or equivalent higher education (Bac+5) in commerce, communications, marketing, or related field
- Minimum 7–10 years of confirmed experience managing international event projects, ideally in the luxury sector
- Significant expertise in team management and orchestration of complex projects combining strategic, creative, and operational dimensions
- Proven mastery of budget management, timeline control, and coordination of multiple stakeholders in matrixed, multicultural organizations
- Strong track record of international deployment and market support within complex organizational structures
- Excellent leadership skills, influence capability, and relationship management across diverse stakeholders
- Fluency in French and English (written and oral); availability for travel throughout Europe and internationally

Experience
Minimum 7 to 10 years of confirmed experience managing international event projects, ideally within the luxury industry. Demonstrated expertise in complex project orchestration combining strategic, creative, and operational components. Proven leadership in managing teams within matrixed, multicultural organizations and delivering international market support.
Education
Bachelor's degree or higher (Bac+5 equivalent) from a top-tier business school, school of communications, school of marketing, or equivalent institution.
