Role & Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess and anticipate event-related risks, including site configuration, access, guest flows, confidentiality, media exposure, local constraints, vendors, country context and event sensitivity.
  • Define, implement and supervise reception, security, safety and risk-prevention measures tailored to each project.
  • Coordinate internal teams, security vendors, reception providers and host teams, including briefings, on-site monitoring and quality of execution.
  • Contribute to project implementation from on-site deployment, coordinating stakeholders and resolving issues promptly.
  • Support runway teams in preparing and operating security arrangements, including site visits, access, flows, screening, on-site coordination, incident management and vendor support.
  • Prepare and distribute necessary technical and operational materials, including plans, schedules, procedures, briefing notes, instructions, quick-reference guides, reports, meeting minutes and post-event reviews.
  • Monitor mission quality, organize debriefs and document lessons learned to continuously improve security arrangements.
  • Track budgets, contractual commitments and the performance of reception and security services for events.
  • Help structure the Events department’s working methods through standards, management tools, shared best practices and clearer interfaces with other functions.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 to 10 years of established experience in event security and safety, ideally in a premium, international, demanding and strongly client-focused environment.
  • Ability to manage several projects concurrently, coordinate vendors, anticipate risks, prepare clear operational documents and support on-site teams with high standards and a strong service orientation.
  • Rigour, organizational skills, discretion, ability to work cross-functionally and a solution-oriented approach for sensitive and changing environments.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Frequent travel in France and abroad, estimated at approximately 30% of working time, and occasional availability for non-standard hours according to the event calendar.
