Chanel Fragrances & Beauty seeks ESG Performance & Reporting Assistant intern in Neuilly-sur-Seine for six-month role supporting CSRD compliance and non-financial data management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collect and consolidate extra-financial data in collaboration with Divisional Sustainability teams, Corporate ESG Performance departments, and all campaign contributors (site technical services, procurement, supply chain).
- Analyze and validate data to produce reporting deliverables meeting CSRD regulatory requirements.
- Prepare presentations of results for key stakeholders, including executive management.
- Participate in post-campaign review and propose improvements to reporting processes and protocols.
- Support external audit of ESG data by responding to auditor inquiries, coordinating evidence collection, and tracking follow-up requests.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of reporting and performance management tools.
- Address cross-functional topics as needed, including climate, biodiversity, circularity, ESG financial indicators, and emerging priorities.
- Identify opportunities and formulate recommendations to improve non-financial performance tracking.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in university, business school, or engineering school
- Strong sensitivity to ESG issues and associated regulations (CSRD, taxonomy)
- Excellent analytical rigor and demonstrated affinity for quantitative work
- Proficiency in Excel with solid data manipulation capabilities
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI is valued
- Fluent in both written and spoken English

Currently pursuing higher education in a quantitatively oriented discipline with demonstrated interest in sustainability and ESG reporting frameworks.
Education
Currently enrolled in a university degree program, business school, or engineering school.
