Chanel seeks an ESG Performance & Reporting Assistant intern in Neuilly-sur-Seine to support sustainability initiatives within Perfumes & Beauty, starting January 2027.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the development and maintenance of ESG performance metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Perfumes & Beauty division
- Assist in the collection, verification, and consolidation of environmental and social data from operational facilities and suppliers
- Contribute to the preparation of ESG reports and sustainability disclosures for internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct research on ESG regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices in luxury beauty
- Maintain and update ESG documentation, databases, and tracking systems
- Support cross-functional teams in embedding sustainability considerations into business processes
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in sustainability, environmental science, business, finance, or related discipline
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, reporting standards (GRI, SASB, TCFD), and corporate sustainability principles
- Proficiency in data analysis and MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with data visualization tools is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French and English
- Demonstrated interest in luxury, sustainability, or corporate responsibility
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment

Experience
Recent graduate or current final-year student with relevant coursework or project experience in sustainability, environmental science, business, or finance. Prior experience in corporate sustainability, ESG reporting, or related fields is valued but not required.
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Finance, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline; enrollment in final year of relevant degree program is acceptable.
