Chanel is hiring an ERP Ecosystem Architect in London to lead ERP architecture, integrations and cloud strategy for its global systems.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the target ERP ecosystem architecture and roadmaps aligned with global business strategy and operational requirements.
- Design integration patterns and standards across ERP, CRM, commerce, supply chain and point-of-sale systems to enable reliable data flows and real-time services.
- Lead technical governance for middleware, APIs, data models, and master data management; enforce architecture principles, security and compliance.
- Evaluate and select platform components, cloud services and integration tools; build business cases and migration strategies for cloud/on‑prem transitions.
- Drive end-to-end delivery of large-scale ERP and integration projects, coordinating internal teams, external vendors and system integrators.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to architects, engineers and integrators; establish best practices for testing, release and operations.
- Collaborate with functional leads (finance, supply chain, retail, CRM) to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions and SLAs.
- Oversee performance, resilience and cost optimisation of the ERP landscape and propose improvements to reduce technical debt.
Qualifications
- Proven track record as an enterprise or ERP architect in large, complex organisations; demonstrable leadership of cross-functional technology programmes.
- Hands‑on experience with major ERP platforms and full lifecycle implementations, including design, integration, migration and stabilisation phases.
- Strong knowledge of integration architectures, API management, middleware and master data management.
- Experience defining cloud adoption strategies and hybrid operation models (public cloud, private cloud, on-premise).
- Formal architecture qualification such as TOGAF, or equivalent enterprise architecture certification preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence senior business and technical leaders.

Experience
Typically 7+ years of progressive experience in enterprise architecture, with several full lifecycle ERP implementations and leadership of global integration programmes; luxury retail or fashion sector experience is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent; master's degree preferred.
