Role & Responsibilities

  • Own day‑to‑day e‑merchandising for Chanel Fragrance & Beauty in the UK: curate online assortment, prioritize product placement and manage category/product page layouts.
  • Produce, localize and maintain product content (PDPs), including descriptions, imagery, attributes and SEO metadata, ensuring strict adherence to Chanel brand guidelines.
  • Plan and execute digital promotions, launches and merchandising calendars in coordination with marketing, CRM and commercial teams.
  • Optimize conversion and average order value through PDP testing, cross‑sell/up‑sell strategies and onsite merchandising rules.
  • Monitor and report on e‑commerce KPIs (conversion, traffic, AOV, search ranking), translating data into actionable merchandising recommendations.
  • Collaborate with inventory, logistics and wholesale teams to align online assortment with stock availability and replenishment plans.
  • Implement A/B tests and site experiments with analytics teams to measure impact of merchandising changes.
  • Liaise with regional and global stakeholders to ensure localized activations reflect global strategy while meeting UK market needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, digital commerce or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in e‑commerce merchandising or digital category management, ideally within beauty, fragrance or luxury retail.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience using web analytics to inform merchandising decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to brand tone and product detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholder relationships and prioritise competing commercial objectives.
