Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute marketplace strategy for Korea to grow brand presence while preserving Chanel’s luxury positioning across designated third‑party platforms.
  • Manage end‑to‑end marketplace operations: product onboarding, catalogue management, content localisation, pricing, promotions and inventory alignment with internal merchandising teams.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders — merchandising, marketing, legal, logistics and customer service — to ensure seamless execution and compliance with brand guidelines.
  • Partner with marketplace account teams and platform partners (including aggregators) to optimise search visibility, advertising campaigns, sponsored listings and promotional participation.
  • Track and analyse marketplace performance (GMV, conversion, AOV, CAC, return rates) and deliver regular reports with actionable recommendations for growth and margin improvement.
  • Ensure customer experience excellence on marketplace channels, handling escalations, quality control and post‑sales service standards consistent with Chanel’s premium positioning.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in e‑commerce marketplace management or marketplace operations, preferably within fashion, beauty or premium consumer goods.
  • Demonstrated track record growing marketplace sales and improving marketplace KPIs through content optimisation, pricing, promotions and paid acquisition.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and external partners in a matrix environment.
  • Commercial acumen with experience monitoring P&L drivers, margin management and inventory planning for online channels.
  • Excellent analytical capability and comfort with data-driven decision making; experience translating analytics into commercial actions.
