Chanel — Paris: Editorial Design Intern (Fashion) starting Sept 2026. Support editorial conception and content production for campaigns and lookbooks.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the editorial conception team in the development of seasonal fashion stories, lookbooks and campaign concepts.
- Produce moodboards, visual research and image references to inform art direction and shoot briefs.
- Prepare layout drafts and multipage presentations for internal review using Adobe InDesign and Keynote/PowerPoint.
- Assist in photo selection, basic retouching coordination and image asset management for digital and print deliverables.
- Draft concise editorial copy, captions and metadata for fashion content in collaboration with copywriters.
- Coordinate scheduling and logistics with photography, styling and production teams; manage call sheets and asset tracking.
- Maintain organized archives of visuals, past campaigns and reference materials; ensure version control and clear naming conventions.
- Participate in creative meetings, contribute ideas for visual narratives and support senior editors on ad hoc projects.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a recognised degree or master’s programme in Fashion Communication, Editorial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction or a closely related discipline.
- Demonstrable portfolio of editorial layouts, moodboards or visual storytelling projects (academic or professional).
- Strong visual sensibility, rigorous attention to detail and an ability to translate conceptual briefs into concrete visual proposals.
- Excellent organisational skills and capacity to manage multiple priorities to tight deadlines.
- Professional discretion, collaborative attitude and a keen understanding of luxury brand codes.

Experience
Internship-level role. Candidates should be currently enrolled in higher education with relevant academic project work and ideally one prior internship or project experience in editorial, fashion houses, creative agencies or publishing; open to early-career applicants.
Education
Enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Fashion Communication, Editorial Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Art Direction or equivalent.
