Chanel seeks a Division Executive in Kuala Lumpur to lead divisional P&L, retail strategy and cross‑functional execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead commercial and operational strategy for the assigned division in the Kuala Lumpur market, ensuring alignment with global brand objectives.
- Own divisional P&L, budgeting and forecasting; translate financial targets into actionable plans and monitor performance against KPIs.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities with merchandising, marketing, retail operations, client services and supply chain to optimise product launches and inventory flow.
- Drive excellence in client experience and clienteling initiatives across touchpoints to maximise revenue and loyalty.
- Develop, mentor and retain high-performing teams; set clear objectives, conduct performance reviews and implement talent development plans.
- Manage relationships with regional stakeholders and headquarters, ensuring compliance with brand standards, local regulation and governance policies.
- Lead business reviews and present strategic recommendations to senior leadership; implement continuous improvement and risk mitigation measures.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail, fashion or beauty with demonstrated P&L responsibility.
- Strong commercial and strategic acumen, with documented success in delivering top-line growth and margin improvement.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills across internal and external partners.
- Ability to operate with discretion, uphold brand standards and manage a diverse, client-facing organization.
- Willingness to travel regionally as required.
Skills
Experience
Senior leadership experience in luxury goods or high-end retail environments, typically including several years of P&L ownership and cross-functional management at a regional or divisional level.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing or related discipline; MBA or advanced management qualification preferred.
