Distribution Planner at Chanel Tokyo – manage omnichannel inventory, supply planning, and retail distribution for luxury beauty.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor product inventory across all distribution channels and points of sale
- Support product supply planning by channel and individual POS location
- Plan and execute distribution of promotional materials across channels and POS
- Analyze sales data and generate comprehensive analytical reporting
- Operate and maintain automated allocation and replenishment systems
- Support enhancement initiatives and continuous improvement projects for allocation and replenishment systems
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Solid understanding of retail and distribution business models
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Intermediate to advanced Excel proficiency; experience with Power Pivot and SQL is advantageous
- Ability to create professional presentations using PowerPoint
- Native-level Japanese language proficiency; English reading and writing skills are preferred
- High level of curiosity and strong adaptability to innovation and change
Skills
Experience
Experience in beauty, fashion, or FMCG industries with demonstrated expertise in multi-channel (online/offline) distribution and inventory management. Prior experience in retail operations and wholesale-based sales is advantageous. Omnichannel project experience is valued. A long-term perspective with strong desire for continuous learning and self-development is essential.
Education
Bachelor's degree required.
