Chanel seeks an experienced Distribution Centre & Process Engineer Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations and optimize logistics processes in Singapore.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the distribution centre to ensure efficient and accurate order fulfillment
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, providing training, performance management, and development opportunities
- Implement and maintain process improvements to optimize logistics efficiency and reduce operational costs
- Monitor inventory management systems and reconcile stock levels to ensure accuracy
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams including procurement, merchandising, and retail operations
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and security protocols throughout the distribution facility
- Analyze key performance indicators and prepare reports on distribution centre metrics
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and vendor relationships
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience in distribution, warehouse, or logistics operations
- Strong understanding of supply chain processes and inventory management systems
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and process optimization
Skills
Experience
5-7 years of experience in warehouse operations, distribution centre management, or supply chain logistics roles, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity
Education
Secondary education required; tertiary qualification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field preferred
