Chanel seeks Group Director of Boutique Architecture Operations in New York to oversee global retail design strategy and execution.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee the strategic planning and execution of boutique architectural design and renovation projects across the global retail network
- Establish and maintain architectural standards, design guidelines, and operational protocols that align with brand identity and luxury retail best practices
- Manage cross-functional collaboration between design, real estate, construction, compliance, and retail operations teams to ensure seamless project delivery
- Monitor project budgets, timelines, and resource allocation to ensure efficient execution and cost optimization
- Lead the development and implementation of innovative retail environments that enhance customer experience and brand positioning
- Review and approve architectural designs, interior specifications, and technical documentation before construction begins
- Ensure all boutique spaces comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and brand compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Extensive experience in luxury retail architecture or high-end boutique design and operations

Education
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree or professional certification (AIA, IIDA, or equivalent) preferred
