Digital Learning Manager at CHANEL, Amsterdam. 12-month fixed-term fulltime role driving regional learning strategy for Fragrance & Beauty across Benelux and Scandinavia.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute long-term digital learning strategy for Benelux and Scandinavia regions, including development roadmap and communication plans
- Design blended learning pathways tailored to wholesale and retail stakeholders, ensuring regional alignment with Europe Learning teams
- Master and optimize e-learning application adoption, adapting promotion strategies to regional nuances and tracking engagement metrics
- Lead digital learning innovation initiatives, overseeing the rollout of new digital learning platforms and integrating industry best practices
- Guide and supervise creation and adaptation of local content (podcasts, tutorials, videos) in collaboration with trainers, creative developers, and the intern
- Create and animate a vibrant digital learning community across both regions, scheduling long-term communication plans and engagement programmes
- Facilitate and oversee digital training events for retail and wholesale partners
- Oversee user data management and analytics on the Learning Management System using Excel and Power BI, generating actionable insights and performance reports
- Manage digital learning budget, ensuring resource efficiency and strategic investments
- Supervise and mentor the Digital Learning intern, delegating operational tasks while fostering professional development
- Represent the regions within the European Digital Learning Community, sharing insights and best practices
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Learning, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital learning strategy and project management
- Demonstrable expertise in data analysis and LMS user reporting
- Experience in retail, FMCG, or luxury industry environments
- Fluent English communication; Dutch, French, or Scandinavian languages preferred
- Team leadership and mentoring capability
- Currently living and working in the Netherlands
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in digital learning strategy, programme management, and ideally within an international luxury, retail, or FMCG environment, with demonstrated ability to operate strategically while managing operational execution and team leadership.
Education
Master's degree in Marketing, Business, Learning, or a closely related discipline.
