Chanel — Neuilly‑sur‑Seine: Digital IT Project Assistant (Retail, Beauty & Fragrance) apprenticeship starting Sept 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Digital IT Project Manager on retail initiatives within the Parfums & Beauté perimeter, from discovery through rollout and post‑launch support.
- Translate business needs into clear functional specifications and assist in drafting user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (retail operations, visual merchandising, CRM, POS teams, external vendors) to align requirements and delivery schedules.
- Maintain project plans, track milestones, risks and dependencies, and prepare regular status reports and dashboards for stakeholders.
- Organise and execute testing activities (integration tests, UAT), manage defect logs and follow up on remediation with development teams.
- Contribute to rollout preparation for boutiques: prepare deployment packages, training materials, and support documentation; provide on‑site or remote go‑live assistance.
- Facilitate change management and user adoption by producing clear communications, process maps and quick reference guides.
- Participate in post‑implementation reviews and continuous improvement initiatives to optimise retail digital processes.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Information Systems, Computer Science, Digital Project Management, Engineering, or a related discipline (alternance/apprenticeship required).
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and strict deadlines in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication; ability to produce clear documentation and present status updates to diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail and a pragmatic, solutions‑oriented approach to problem solving.
- Ability to work collaboratively across functions and with external suppliers; discretion and professionalism appropriate to a luxury brand.
Skills
Experience
Ideal candidates will have already completed at least one internship or practical placement in IT, digital projects, or retail operations. Prior exposure to store systems, e‑commerce or POS projects is a strong advantage.
Education
Enrolment in a recognised higher education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in IT, Computer Science, Digital Project Management, Engineering, or equivalent; the position is offered as an alternance/apprenticeship.
Workplace
The successful candidate will be located in Neuilly-sur-Seine, Île-de-France, France, with easy access to Paris.
