Chanel internship: Development Project Assistant in Fine Jewelry. Paris-based, 6-month role supporting haute joaillerie projects. January 2027 start.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new digital tools and systems (approximately 50% of time) to support project management efficiency, including BI platforms, MS Project integration, and custom analytics solutions
- Oversee the technical and aesthetic development of multiple fine jewelry and precious jewelry pieces (approximately 25% of time), liaising across Design Studios, Engineering Bureaus, workshops, Marketing, Gemstone Services, and Quality departments
- Ensure adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and cost parameters for all assigned pieces
- Support Project Managers with project governance and execution (approximately 25% of time), including planning, quotation management, and supplier coordination
- Manage transportation logistics for pieces with external suppliers and internal workshops
- Produce and maintain planning schedules, cost estimates, and stakeholder mapping documentation
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an engineering school or business school programme
- Demonstrated success in a previous internship or project-based work experience
- Fluency in English and French required
- Genuine interest in fine jewelry and luxury watchmaking
Skills
Experience
At least one successful prior internship or project-based work experience demonstrating organizational capability and collaborative problem-solving.
Education
Currently pursuing a degree from an engineering school or business school (Grandes Écoles or equivalent).
