Chanel is hiring a Deputy Head of Boutique, Watches & Fine Jewelry in Hong Kong — lead boutique operations, clienteling and sales for timepieces and high jewelry.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Head in day-to-day management of the watches and fine jewelry boutique, ensuring seamless retail operations and exceptional client service.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to achieve and exceed commercial targets for timepieces and high-jewelry categories through proactive clienteling and personalised selling.
- Deliver an elevated client experience for VIP and prospective clients, overseeing appointment management, bespoke service, and after-sales relationship-building.
- Manage stock accuracy, inventory controls and the secure handling of high-value merchandise in accordance with brand procedures and loss-prevention protocols.
- Ensure merchandise presentation, visual standards and in-store environments reflect the maison’s aesthetic and merchandising directives.
- Coach, develop and certify boutique staff on product expertise (horology and high jewelry), sales techniques and compliance with brand policies.
- Coordinate with regional management, wholesale and after-sales teams to optimise assortment, client handovers and service escalations.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience within luxury retail, ideally with responsibility for watches and/or fine jewelry sales.
- Strong commercial acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales and KPI targets in a premium retail environment.
- Deep product knowledge of horology and high jewelry, including an understanding of technical features, craftsmanship and valuation principles.
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate and manage high-net-worth client relationships and deliver discreet, personalised service.
- High standards of professional integrity, attention to detail and familiarity with luxury loss-prevention practices.

Experience
Typically requires five or more years of progressive experience in luxury retail with demonstrable supervisory experience and specific exposure to watches and/or fine jewelry sales.
Education
Secondary education required; post-secondary qualification in business, retail management or a related field preferred.
