Chanel Deputy Head of Boutique

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Head in day-to-day management of boutique operations, ensuring adherence to Chanel’s commercial and visual standards.
- Coach, motivate and schedule boutique staff; drive individual and team sales performance through training, mentoring and performance management.
- Develop and maintain high-value client relationships via proactive clienteling, VIP service and personalised follow-up.
- Execute merchandising and visual directives, ensuring presentation standards, stock allocation and replenishment align with sales forecasts.
- Oversee transactional integrity, cash handling, loss-prevention procedures and compliance with company policies.
- Prepare and analyse sales reports, KPI dashboards and inventory metrics to inform local commercial decisions and action plans.
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding and development of boutique talent; act as acting-boutique head during absences.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in luxury retail or premium fashion, with direct supervisory responsibility.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing client portfolios.
- Strong commercial acumen and experience with merchandising, stock control and KPI analysis.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; capacity to lead by example in a high-service environment.
- Availability to work retail hours including evenings, weekends and peak seasonal periods.

Experience
Typically 3–5+ years in luxury or premium retail with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager role; experience leading sales teams and managing boutique operations is expected.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor’s degree in business, retail management, fashion or a related field preferred.
