Chanel is hiring a Deputy Boutique Manager for Dubai Duty Free in Dubai. Lead boutique operations, sales and team development at a flagship travel-retail location.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Boutique Manager in day-to-day boutique operations at Dubai Duty Free, ensuring flawless execution of Chanel’s brand and service standards.
- Drive sales performance to achieve boutique KPIs through coaching, visual merchandising, clienteling and targeted selling initiatives.
- Lead, train and motivate boutique staff; oversee scheduling, performance reviews and on-boarding of new hires.
- Manage inventory controls, stock movements, loss prevention procedures and replenishment in partnership with supply chain and regional teams.
- Implement visual merchandising directives and ensure boutique presentation, windows and product placement meet maison guidelines.
- Deliver exceptional client service and cultivate long-term relationships with high-value and traveling clientele, ensuring privacy and discretion.
- Prepare and analyse daily/weekly sales reports, forecast demand and contribute to local commercial planning.
- Ensure compliance with Dubai Duty Free regulations, customs procedures and Chanel’s internal policies, including cash handling and POS reconciliation.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership in luxury retail with a minimum of 3–5 years’ retail experience and at least 1–2 years in a supervisory or assistant-manager role.
- Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets in premium or travel-retail environments; experience with duty-free operations advantageous.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop a diverse team.
- Sound commercial acumen, numeracy for sales reporting and familiarity with inventory controls and loss-prevention practices.
- Availability to work retail hours typical of travel-retail, including weekends and holidays; valid work authorization for the UAE required.

Minimum 3–5 years in luxury retail with demonstrable supervisory experience; prior exposure to travel retail or duty-free environments is highly desirable.
Education
Secondary education required; degree or diploma in retail management, business or related field preferred.
