Chanel Watchmaking & Jewellery Data Science Intern in Geneva, Switzerland—develop AI/ML solutions across the full project lifecycle.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Participate in the full lifecycle of AI/ML projects, from problem definition and exploratory data analysis through model development and production deployment
  • Develop machine learning and deep learning models using Python and frameworks such as PyTorch, Scikit-Learn, and YOLO, with exposure to RAG architectures and generative AI applications
  • Engage in advanced computer vision projects involving modern deep learning architectures, Siamese networks, and synthetic data generation techniques
  • Contribute to forecasting, statistical modeling, and decision-support systems designed to anticipate operational phenomena and improve decision-making
  • Explore operational research and mathematical optimization approaches to solve complex resource allocation, planning, and industrial sourcing problems
  • Implement models into production cloud environments (Azure and Databricks) following modern software engineering practices, CI/CD, and MLOps principles
  • Maintain code quality and reproducibility through Git, Docker, and adherence to DevOps best practices

Qualifications

  • Currently in the final year of studies in applied mathematics, computer science, artificial intelligence, data science, or equivalent discipline
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Python with strong fundamentals in statistics, machine learning, and software development
  • Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software engineering principles
  • Ability to work independently on open-ended problems and translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
