Chanel seeks an HR Data Project Manager in Paris to lead HR data ecosystem simplification and optimization initiatives. 12-month contract role beginning September 2026.
Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct gap analysis between local and global HR data tools, identifying definition discrepancies and assessing what requires rationalization, consolidation, or preservation in light of legal and business requirements
- Evaluate operational and visualization gaps across local and global systems
- Define and scope legal requirements applicable to French entities
- Identify and prioritize business needs to establish a comprehensive project roadmap
- Map local versus global data sources and their integration pathways
- Design a data integration process for the regional Safety Zone with alignment to the global Safety Zone architecture
- Facilitate cross-functional coordination between IT, global HR teams, and Data teams
- Deliver a business case supporting the transition from local tools to the target global architecture
- Provide recommendations on required resources, including change management considerations
- Develop governance processes and Safety Zone utilization guidelines
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience (excluding internships) in data management and HRIS technologies or Data projects
- Proven project management capabilities with ability to coordinate all phases through completion
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate across complex, multi-organizational ecosystems
- Dynamic, intellectually curious, and detail-oriented mindset
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Experience
Minimum 6 years of professional experience in HR data management, HRIS technologies, or enterprise data projects, with demonstrated expertise in coordinating complex, multi-phase initiatives across organizational boundaries. Proven track record of working effectively with IT, HR business partners, and global teams in matrix environments.
