Chanel seeks Data Analyst – Support & Reporting intern in Geneva, Switzerland. 6-month full-time role supporting BI solutions and dashboard development.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Provide functional support on existing Power BI reports and datasets, including access issues, refresh failures, performance problems, and broken visuals
  • Monitor recurring issues, perform initial triage, document findings, and escalate with clear and structured evidence
  • Investigate data and reporting inconsistencies between source systems, curated layers, and reports
  • Contribute to data quality initiatives through reconciliation checks, sanity checks, and basic anomaly detection
  • Collaborate with BI, Data, and IT stakeholders to clarify definitions and establish source-of-truth rules
  • Collect and translate operator reporting needs into clear and actionable requirements including KPIs and operational constraints
  • Participate in the design, development, and testing of Power BI dashboards aligned with business needs and BI standards
  • Enhance existing reports by improving usability, clarity, and performance
  • Support ongoing initiatives related to the Federated Data Platform and evolution of reporting within Swiss Markets, including rationalization and adoption of BI solutions such as Microsoft Fabric

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled student in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools, particularly Power BI
  • SQL language proficiency is advantageous
  • Strong interest in Business Intelligence and data analysis
  • Proactive mindset with demonstrated team collaboration
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Internship agreement mandatory and must meet the following conditions: internship must be part of study program, required for degree completion, and validated through academic credits

Experience
