Role & Responsibilities
- Lead security and compliance design, implementation and monitoring for Microsoft Dynamics 365 environments across CRM and ERP modules.
- Define and enforce access controls, role-based security, segregation of duties and data protection policies within D365 and connected platforms.
- Collaborate with Cloud/Platform teams to integrate Azure AD, Purview, Defender and Sentinel for threat detection, data governance and incident response.
- Own compliance activities relating to GDPR, data residency and internal IT security policies for D365 dataflows and integrations.
- Perform regular security assessments, risk analyses, configuration reviews and remediation tracking for Dynamics 365 solutions.
- Develop operational runbooks, technical standards and audit evidence for internal and external compliance reviews.
- Partner with Business, ITSM and Third‑party vendors to ensure secure change management, patching and continuous monitoring of D365 customizations and integrations.
- Provide training and advisory support to business stakeholders on secure usage patterns, data classification and request workflows.
Qualifications
- Proven experience securing and governing Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM/ERP) implementations in a complex, multi‑region environment.
- Strong knowledge of identity and access management, role-based security models, and segregation of duties controls.
- Practical experience with cloud security tooling and Microsoft security suite to support D365 (Azure AD, Microsoft Purview, Defender, Sentinel).
- Demonstrable understanding of data protection laws (e.g. GDPR) and information security frameworks such as ISO/IEC 27001.
- Excellent stakeholder management and ability to translate technical risk into pragmatic business controls.
- Relevant certifications desirable (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance and Identity Fundamentals; Azure Security Engineer; CISSP) — or equivalent professional experience.

Typically 4+ years of hands-on experience in security, compliance or governance roles with at least 2 years focused on Microsoft Dynamics 365 implementations or equivalent enterprise CRM/ERP platforms. Experience operating in multi‑jurisdictional, retail or luxury brand environments is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline — or equivalent professional experience.
