Chanel is hiring a Counter Manager in Kelowna, Canada to lead the Chanel beauty counter, drive sales and deliver exceptional client experiences.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day operations of the Chanel counter within a department store or retail partner, ensuring flawless execution of brand standards.
- Coach, schedule and develop the counter team to achieve individual and collective sales targets and KPIs.
- Deliver exceptional, personalised client experiences through appointment management, clienteling and post-sale follow-up.
- Manage inventory, stock replenishment, merchandising and product launches in close coordination with district management and retail partner teams.
- Implement visual merchandising and presentation guidelines to maintain an elevated in-counter environment.
- Ensure compliance with operational procedures, loss-prevention policies and financial controls.
- Coordinate in-counter events, product demonstrations and local promotional initiatives to grow client acquisition and retention.
Qualifications
- Proven supervisory experience within luxury beauty or high-end retail, preferably managing a counter or boutique team.
- Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs in a client-facing environment.
- Deep knowledge of prestige cosmetics, fragrance and skincare products, with strong advisory selling capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and peak retail periods.
Skills
Experience
Several years of progressive experience in luxury beauty or prestige retail, including prior responsibility for leading a small team and driving in-store or counter sales. Experience working within a branded concession or department store environment is highly advantageous.
Education
Secondary education required; post-secondary diploma or certification in business, retail management or cosmetology is preferred.
