Counter Manager position at Chanel Boucherville, Quebec. Lead beauty and fragrance sales, team development, and visual merchandising in a temporary two-month role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve planned beauty and fragrance sales objectives through proactive sales initiatives and upselling strategies
  • Deliver superior customer service through attentive consultation, demonstrating genuine interest and courtesy to all clientele
  • Develop, motivate, and mentor counter team members to meet minimum items-per-transaction targets and daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives
  • Recruit, train, and onboard new sales analysts while monitoring their performance through personalized productivity reports
  • Coordinate promotional events and limited-edition launches in collaboration with the territory manager and store management
  • Manage inventory for beauty and fragrance products, including stock rotation, availability tracking, and replenishment
  • Maintain Chanel hygiene and presentation standards through active merchandising, ensuring promotional displays and signage comply with brand guidelines
  • Schedule counter staff coverage in coordination with the cosmetics manager to ensure continuous optimal service levels
  • Conduct regular team meetings (daily, weekly, monthly) to establish sales targets, review performance, and provide coaching
  • Maintain strong relationships with fragrance associates by communicating sales objectives and providing ongoing support

Qualifications

  • Proven retail leadership experience in a luxury beauty or fragrance environment
