Role & Responsibilities
- Support the corporate legal team in drafting, reviewing and annotating commercial and corporate contracts and internal agreements.
- Conduct regulatory and jurisprudential research on French and European corporate, commercial and compliance matters.
- Assist with day-to-day compliance monitoring tasks, including KYC/sanctions screenings, internal controls and policy implementation.
- Prepare clear legal memoranda, summaries and presentation materials for counsel and business partners.
- Help maintain legal project trackers, corporate records and compliance documentation to ensure audit readiness.
- Coordinate with business units and external counsel to obtain information, follow up on open issues and support investigations when required.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s-level law programme (Master 1/Master 2, LLM) or equivalent with a focus on corporate law, compliance or regulatory affairs.
- Strong academic record and demonstrable interest in in-house corporate counsel work and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; capacity to draft precise legal notes in French and to adapt detail for non-legal stakeholders.
- High level of discretion, organisational rigor and ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Right to work in France for the duration of the internship and availability for the period required by French internship law.

Experience
Internship-level position. Prior internships or practical experience in a law firm, corporate legal department or compliance function are advantageous but not mandatory.
Education
Enrolled in a recognised law programme (Master 1/Master 2, LLM or equivalent) with coursework in corporate law or compliance.
