Role & Responsibilities
- Support the identification, scoping and delivery of continuous improvement projects across the logistics site (inbound, warehousing, picking, packing and outbound).
- Collect and analyse operational data to quantify losses, validate hypotheses and propose tangible improvements to processes and flows.
- Map current-state and target-state processes using value stream mapping and other Lean tools; produce clear documentation and SOPs.
- Plan and facilitate Kaizen workshops, 5S activities and small-scale pilots; monitor implementation and sustainment.
- Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders (operations, quality, maintenance, IT) to remove barriers and expedite project milestones.
- Track key performance indicators, prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and present progress updates to site management.
- Contribute to training materials and coach shopfloor teams on standard work and problem-solving techniques.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, operations management or equivalent.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable improvements.
- Familiarity with Lean methodologies (Kaizen, 5S, Value Stream Mapping) and basic problem-solving frameworks (5 Whys, Ishikawa).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with shopfloor teams and managers.
- Fluency in French is highly recommended for daily operations on site.

Experience
Previous internship or practical exposure to logistics operations, continuous improvement or industrial projects is advantageous but not mandatory; academic project work demonstrating applied Lean or process-improvement methods will be considered.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate programme (BSc/BA or MSc/MA) in industrial engineering, logistics, supply chain, operations management or equivalent.
