Chanel Compliance Project Manager – Safety Data Sheets, 4-month fixed-term contract in Pantin, France. Manage SDS compliance and chemical regulatory oversight.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Centralize, validate, and digitize raw material SDS submitted by suppliers into company information systems
  • Develop, review, and ensure regulatory compliance of in-house cosmetic product SDS; audit and control subcontracted formulations and distribute information to industrial partners
  • Monitor and implement compliance with evolving, non-harmonized chemical regulations impacting the product catalog, development initiatives, and workplace safety
  • Proactively communicate regulatory changes and compliance requirements to IRD teams and HSE departments across all Chanel Parfums Beauté sites
  • Secure critical workflows and guarantee regulatory compliance and process reliability to ensure operational continuity and system stability
  • Maintain strategic surveillance of CLP and REACH regulations to guarantee SDS accuracy and completeness

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree or Master's in Chemistry, Occupational Health and Safety (HSE), or Chemical Risk Management
  • Solid knowledge of chemical ingredients, raw materials, and chemical hazard assessment
  • Proficiency in CLP (Classification, Labelling and Packaging) and REACH (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals) regulations
  • Strong organizational, methodical, and autonomous working style
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated initiative and capacity to propose solutions independently

Experience
